ABOUT US

OUR VISION

The vision of Christ Temple Church is to become the recognized resource in our community for hope, healing, and help. (Matthew 5:14)

OUR MISSION

The mission of Christ Temple Church is to provide the tools and training required for our members to prosper both spiritually and naturally. (3 John 1:2)

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of Christ Temple Church is to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ and prepare the world for His coming. (John 5:25) 2:42-47).

OUR FAITH

THE WORD

We teach the Apostolic, fundamental truths of Scripture, by which we seek to equip the saints for service, and for the building up of the body of Christ in unity, knowledge of the Son of God, and maturity, measured by the stature of the fullness of Christ, and for protection against the deceitful scheming of Satan (Eph. 4:12-16).

THE WORSHIP

We meet regularly for the purpose of expressing worship in prayer, songs of praise, adoration, admonishment, and administering the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's supper (Heb. 13:15; Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16; 1 Cor. 11:23-24; Matt. 18:19; Acts. 2:42).

THE WORLD

We should endeavor to promote meaningful relationships among believers, expressions of sharing and caring for, and loving one another, warning, motivating and encouraging one another to love and good deeds (Heb. 10:24-25; 13:1-2; Acts. 2:42-47).

THE WALK

The only way to voluntarily and joyfully submit to the Lord and to one another in the Body of Christ is to be filled with the Spirit. He is the one who truly makes us willing to follow the narrow path of submission and relinquish our wills for His.

When you surrender to the control of God's Spirit, you'll find Him producing amazing things in you--things that are entirely of His doing. Paul calls those marvelous blessings the fruit of the Spirit, and they are: "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control" (Gal. 5:22-23).

The person who is Spirit-filled and who bears the Spirit's fruit is the person who belongs to Christ and who has "crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit," Paul continued, "let us also walk by the Spirit" (Gal. 5:24-25). To be filled by and walk in the Spirit is to fulfill your ultimate potential of your life on earth as one of God's children.
